		<description>Great product - TERRIBLE CUSTOM SERVICE&lt;br&gt;Rating:3 out of 5 stars&lt;br&gt;This is a very well built pressure cooker, solid and easy to use. However, the first Chef&#039;s Design P.C. I purchased via Amazon broke within weeks. The heavy gauge plastic pressure release valve broke and stays locked in &quot;release&quot; position. The price was better than any other, so I simply bought another. The new one is terrific and we use it regularly without any issues. 
&lt;br /&gt;The cooker gets 5 stars, but Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry Co. gets no stars for their rude phone reps and evasive warranty policies. 
&lt;br /&gt;Their warranty clearly states, &quot; if the product becomes defective within the warranty period, Wisconsin Aluminum will replace or repair it at our discretion.&quot; It also states that they will not cover damage to the product resulting from misuse, overheating, accidents or alteration to the product. NO WHERE DOES IT STATE THAT W.A. ONLY COVERS THE ACTUAL STAINLESS STEEL CONTAINER - NOT THE PLASTIC RELEASE HANDLE, which was the first thing out of their customer services mouth!
&lt;br /&gt;When I called them to let W.A. know I was about to send the lid back, the rep promptly told me that the pot I purchased in late 2004 was in fact 14 years old and they didn&#039;t make it anymore and wouldn&#039;t fix it. I explained that I recently bought the same item for a second time on Amazon a few months go and assured her that they DO still make it. She than told me that I shouldn&#039;t have waited to send it back and than I wouldn&#039;t have and to purchase a new one. That may be true, but it was still defective and should be covered by the warranty of 10 years!
&lt;br /&gt;I should be considered a GOOD CUSTOMER since I returned to buy another from them, but instead I was treated like a kid that got caught chewing gum in school.
&lt;br /&gt;FINALLY after objections, explanations and not letting the Rep push me around, she opted to just send me the 2 plastic parts that were dysfunctional, to be fixed by myself...
&lt;br /&gt;WISCONSIN ALUMINUM Co. ,  if you don&#039;t want to honor your 10 year warranty...you must be sure to state that your crummy warranty only covers the stainless steel part of the item and NOT the plastic release handles. And teach your customer service folks to be polite. We shouldn&#039;t be made to feel like we&#039;re being put on trail with Judge Judy just to get one of your items repaired that was faulty in the first place!

<br />FINALLY &#97;&#102;&#116;&#101;&#114; objections, explanations &#97;&#110;&#100; &#110;&#111;&#116; letting &#116;&#104;&#101; Rep push &#109;&#101; around, &#115;&#104;&#101; opted &#116;&#111; &#106;&#117;&#115;&#116; send &#109;&#101; &#116;&#104;&#101; 2 plastic &#112;&#97;&#114;&#116;&#115; &#116;&#104;&#97;&#116; &#119;&#101;&#114;&#101; dysfunctional, &#116;&#111; &#98;&#101; fixed &#98;&#121; myself&#8230;<br />
<br />WISCONSIN ALUMINUM Co. ,  &#105;&#102; &#121;&#111;&#117; don&#8217;t want &#116;&#111; honor &#121;&#111;&#117;&#114; 10 year warranty&#8230;&#121;&#111;&#117; &#109;&#117;&#115;&#116; &#98;&#101; sure &#116;&#111; state &#116;&#104;&#97;&#116; &#121;&#111;&#117;&#114; crummy warranty &#111;&#110;&#108;&#121; covers &#116;&#104;&#101; stainless steel &#112;&#97;&#114;&#116; &#111;&#102; &#116;&#104;&#101; item &#97;&#110;&#100; &#78;&#79;&#84; &#116;&#104;&#101; plastic release handles. &#65;&#110;&#100; teach &#121;&#111;&#117;&#114; customer service folks &#116;&#111; &#98;&#101; polite. &#87;&#101; shouldn&#8217;t &#98;&#101; &#109;&#97;&#100;&#101; &#116;&#111; feel &#108;&#105;&#107;&#101; &#119;&#101;&#8217;re being &#112;&#108;&#97;&#99;&#101; &#111;&#110; trail &#119;&#105;&#116;&#104; Judge Judy &#106;&#117;&#115;&#116; &#116;&#111; &#103;&#101;&#116; one &#111;&#102; &#121;&#111;&#117;&#114; items repaired &#116;&#104;&#97;&#116; &#119;&#97;&#115; faulty &#105;&#110; &#116;&#104;&#101; first &#112;&#108;&#97;&#99;&#101;!<br />
